Calvary Temple Evangelical Church of Christ,started from the humble beginning of a dwelling house at 40 Lincoln Avenue, Kingston 13, Jamaica West Indies.  In July 1956, the Church was established and is presently located at 14 1/2 Texton Road, Kingston 5, Jamaica West Indies.This location remains the Headquarters for the Evangelical Church of Christ International.

The founding Pastor, Reverend Albert Esmay Reid, through obiedence and prayer, heeded to God's call on his life to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide a place of worship for His people.  With the leading of the Holy Spirit, the vision and efforts of Reverend Reid and the dedication and prayerful support of the early brethren, the Church grew spiritually and numerically. Today, for every blessings and success, God is to be praised.

Calvary Temple continues to spread and instill the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world with Godly principles and promote righteous living through the various programmes and activities under the leadership of Bishop Mervyn Chambers and Pastor Paul Brissett.
